As the winter begins to move in, if you’re a snowbird heading somewhere warmer for the next several months, make sure to complete the Snowbird / Summer Vacation form on the City of Northfields website. When residents are away from their homes for 3 or more months, they can temporarily suspend city-provided utility services. Homes will then receive a minimum utility bill for the base charges of each service, and garbage will be at the drive-by rate.
