The Northfield School Board meets this evening for a regular meeting. The meeting will start with a presentation by the Activities Director, John Mahal, on the department’s success from the last year and focus areas for this school year. That will be followed by a review of the State of the District address given earlier in the year by Superintendent Dr. Matt Hillmann. The full State of the District is traditionally given to the Northfield Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
Later on the agenda will be several committee reports, including the All-district Committee meeting, the Facilities Committee, and the Northfield Forward Report.
Items for action include submitting forms with the Minnesota State High School League and policy updates.

If you are interested in attending the school board meeting, it is held in the District Office Board Room; use Door #2 located on the north side of the District Office on 2nd Street West. The meetings are also streamed live on Youtube; you can find the link to the video in the agenda at Northfieldschools.org. Recordings of the meetings are also posted on the district’s YouTube page.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6pm.
