The Northfield School Board meets tonight for a regular meeting. First up on the agenda will be a discussion of the School Calendar for next year. The board will debate and make any suggestions at the meeting, with final vote and approval on the calendar at the December 8th meeting. The board will then hear a report about changing the staffing levels at the High School, in particular, to make the Dean of Students a full-time role. The board will also be asked to approve the change at their Dec. 8th meeting.
Items for action at the meeting include approval of a group of policy changes and then approval and ratification of employment action.
The meeting will end with a summary update of the High School Construction project. According to the latest update, School District Staff and Wold Architects are still working on the design and receiving the last bits of input from user groups. But as of now, it remains on track.
