Host Joe Moravchik welcomes St. Olaf College Professor of Russian Language and Area Studies Giulia Dossi where they discuss her experience living and studying in St. Petersburg and Moscow, her preparation for her future course about Russian and Ukrainian literature, and touch on certain areas in her current research including historical contagions and epidemics in Eastern Europe, nineteenth-century Russian Realism and Writing in the Medical Humanities, and much more.
