4th of July Live from Bridge Square

Celebrate America;s 250th Birthday as we braodcast live from downtown Northfield. We open the program with the National Anthem, followed by an introduction to the day, along with a 21 gun salute from the American Legion and the VFW with the playing of taps from Dean Lamp.

We will be serving rootbeer floats thorughout the morning wih ice cream from the Udder Buddies of Lonsdale, Rootbeer from the R-Bar in Randolph and doughnuts form the Bread People Bakery in Northfield.

We interview Betsy Larson who shares the origin of ice cream for breakfast, that dates back to 1951

Bob Yanda. Sr. Vice Commander of the Local VFW shares all the things that the American Legion and the VFW do for the community everyday.

Morgan Morton of the Bread People Bakery shares er story as she rises from the Riverwalk Market Fair to a full service bakery.

We round out the inteview with Mayor, Erica Zweifel as she shares here vison for the community as she dishes up some delicious ice cream.
