Such a treat to celebrate Northfield’s Winter Walk extravaganza with an in-studio appearance by Mother Banjo (aka Ellen Stanley) and Ben Cook-Feltz! Two very talented Minnesota musicians who also happen to be married — to each other! — and recently collaborated on a lovely new holiday EP, “Christmas Came Early.” We chatted a bit about the release (also produced by Ben and featuring a fantastic roster of talented Minnesota musicians) and took a listen in its entirety. The perfect addition to your holiday record collection! Now available on iTunes and CD Baby — and tonight at The Contented Cow! Ellen and Ben will be performing from 8-10 pm in celebration of Winter Walk — and then Saturday night at the Oak Center General Store and Sunday night at Icehouse MPLS.
