Julida and Sean Alter, two of the members of the Minneapolis pop/folk ensemble The Blacksmith’s Daughters, stopped by for a live in-studio session this evening — always a great way to wrap up the week on All-Wheel Drive.
Along with Annella and Brent Platta (the “other” blacksmith’s daughter and her husband), the four believe that music should inspire the best in each other. That is why they create music aimed to make people happy, with songs featuring soaring melodies and intense harmonies, and intertwined guitar and ukulele.
