Helen Forsythe and Mary Jo Cristofaro

Sunday, April 22, is Earth Day.  Helen Forsythe and Mary Jo Cristofaro share details about multiple activities planned for the weekend, kicked off tonight (Friday) with a free Contra Dance from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Carleton Cowling gym.  Saturday will be filled with activities; on Bridge Square at 9:30 a.m., individuals can meet for free yoga, a bike ride, and trash cleanup around downtown.  Beginning at 3:30, Division Street will  close in front of the Armory and there will be live music, kids’ activities, exhibits relating to care of the earth. Evening activities will include a student climate art parade, Climatologist Mark Seeley will speak, and community discussion for an action plan.  The evening will be topped off with live music “Tramps like Us” at Imminent Brewing.  Listen for more details.
