Cracking the Boy Code by Adam J. Cox

From talkative little boys to sometimes reclusive tweens and teens.  How do you get boys to look up from their devices and talk? Drawing on decades of experience garnered through thousands of hours of therapy with boys, Teri Knight’s guest today, Clinical Psychologist Dr. Adam J. Cox explains the key to communication in his new book “Cracking the Boy Code – How to Understand and Talk with Boys”.  He talks about how the movie, Gladiator, helped him connect with boys and empower them to be all they can be.   Fox talks about why it’s important to take them seriously and discusses some of their psychological needs that we don’t necessarily assign to boys.   A great conversation on today’s 15 with the Author. dradamcox
