All-Wheel Drive w/ Julian Manzara 1/11/19

Wrapped up another great week here on All-Wheel Drive with an in-studio session with jazz guitarist, composer and vocalist extraordinaire, Julian Manzara. A graduate of the McNally Smith School of Music (he also attended the famed Berklee School of Music), Julian has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. A real treat to have him join us here on 95.1!

Don’t miss Julian TONIGHT at the Tavern Lounge (8 to 11 pm, no cover).

Julian performed his original song, “Can I See You Again,” along with two classic standards, “Beautiful Love” and Green Dolphin Street.”

We also chatted about how he got involved in performing/composing jazz music — and some of his inspirations including Bossa Nova great Antonio Carlos Jobim, saxophonist Dexter Gordon, and fusion guitarist John Scofield.
