The biennial mock crash at the Northfield High School took place early this afternoon. The event (beginning in 1998) was created to deter students from driving while impaired. The impact is palpable—not just the screeching sound of the crash itself but really, in the quiet that follows as the bleachers filled with students and staff goes silent. (Will add video too)
