On September 25, 2019, a Northfield Officer stopped a vehicle in the early morning hours. During the stop it was discovered that the female driver, 28 year old Brianna Armstrong, had an outstanding warrant for drug possession out of Carver County. She was arrested and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a loaded handgun and ecstasy pills. She was booked at the Rice county jail and is being held pending formal charges.
