Northfield residents are invited to take a short survey to help shape the city’s priorities for the 2025–2028 strategic plan. This survey is an opportunity to provide input on key services and community needs, ensuring the plan reflects residents’ priorities and guides decision-making over the next three years.
Survey responses, along with insights from focus groups, will directly inform the city’s next three-year strategic plan. This plan will build on Northfield’s recently updated comprehensive plan, which guides growth and development over the next 20 years. By focusing on the most pressing issues, the strategic plan will provide a clear roadmap for aligning efforts across the community.
Here’s Northfield Mayor Erica Zweifel on KYMN describing the importance of the Strategic Plans:
I think it’s an exciting opportunity to have those come forward at the same time. Also in terms of bets, where’s the budgeting in the comprehensive plan. I’m hoping to weave the budgeting aspect of it into the strategic plan, so when we pick those 5 to 6 things that. Are we’re really going to focus on for the next 3 to 4 years? The budget implications are clear.” – Erica Zweifel on the KYMN Morning Show
The survey is open to Northfield residents, Northfield business owners, and people who work but do not live in Northfield. It consists of a mix of multiple-choice and open-comment questions.
The survey is available in English and Spanish.
