Rice County is reminding residents that they may be eligible for certain tax credits and refunds if they own their own home through a program called the Minnesota Homestead Credit. The program is based on several factors, including your income and the increase in your property taxes.
The due date for filling the fund is August 15th. If you have questions, visit the Rice County Property Tax Website or the Minnesota Department of Revenue website.
