The Northfield Arts Guild’s production of Winnie the Pooh opens this weekend for its two-week-long show. The youth group, Purple Door Theater, is putting on the production. Rachel Haider is the Director of the show. She says that it fits well into the holiday season:
“And even though it isn’t a Christmas story or a holiday story per se, all of the wonderful kindness and hope and all those great things that come from the Pooh stories are what the holidays are all about. And we will Be incorporating a little bit of the holidays into our production.” – Rachel Haider, Director of the Arts Guild Production, on KYMN In The Morning
Shows are at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday this week and next week, and at 2pm on Sunday, with the last show on December 21st. Tickets cost $15 or $12 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the Arts Guild’s website. Several shows are already sold out so get your tickets now.
