Today in the ArtZany Radio studio Paula Granquist welcomes wood artist Reid Hendershot and painter/potter Jenny Bulfer to preview the Studio ARTour and Liz Bunnell, Marketing Coordinator at the Northfield Arts Guild, to visit with us about the Rice County Fall Festival. Both events are happening the weekend of October 2-4, 2026 in Northfield, Dundas and Faribault.

The South Central MN Studio ARTour showcases artists in their working studios.
In 2026, we celebrate the 22nd year of putting on the tour on October 2, 3 & 4 – we invite you to come out and see where and how we work! The 2026 tour features 18 locations and 42 artists around Northfield, Dundas, and Faribault. Most studios showcase several artists working in different media. The artists are glad to answer questions and provide information about the art, and many of the studios will have demonstrations.
The range of work is amazing; weaving to welding, glass to gemstones, clay to carving – and paintings to photography in between. Whether you are a long-time collector, or are just looking for something unique, the studio tour is a perfect way to shop for fine art, and best of all the tour is free!
THE RICE COUNTY FALL FESTIVAL
Presented by the Northfield Arts Guild in collaboration with Studio ARTour and the Faribault Fall Festival, this brand-new, free three-day event combines local art, studio tours, and community celebrations.
The Rice County Fall Festival (RCFF) will take place in various venues across Dundas, Faribault, and Northfield between October 2nd-4th….featuring classic elements of the Studio ARTour and Faribault’s annual Fall Festival, live music performances, and projected video art- from local artists.
