All-Wheel Drive w/ Kinda Fonda Wanda 3/1/19

What a way to wrap up the week! Kinda Fonda Wanda are a tribute band like none other. So good and so much darn fun.

Kinda Fonda Wanda celebrate the vibe and music of the legendary Queen of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson. Fronted by vocalist extraordinaire Amanda White along with two of the Twin Cities’ very best guitarists and musicians, Al Subola (The Bad Companions) and Drew Miller (Boiled in Lead), KFW are not to be missed! (And lucky us, they are appearing tonight at the Tavern Lounge here in Northfield).

You can also check them out March 9 at the White Bear Lake VFW, March 22 at the Minneapolis Eagles Club #34 (with swing dance instruction!), and June 12 at Lee’s Liquor Lounge.

We chatted about our collective love of all things vintage (especially from the 50s & 60s), the joy of swing dancing, and the wealth of tribute bands of all genres here in the Twin Cities. Audiences love them and Kinda Fonda Wanda is a great example why.

Kinda Fonda Wanda performed:

Let’s Have A Party
Money Honey
Fujiyama Mama
Right Or Wrong
